I just watched the movie Day of the Dead

It was pretty neat. The practical effects in it were really good. The acting from the side characters was pretty bad, but the main casts interactions is what made the movie.

It is a movie about a zombie outbreak with a small group of military men protecting scientists trying to find a cure, all while held up in an abandoned mine.

American Horror Story - Season 6 (Roanoke)

This is not only the best season of AHS, it's one of the best seasons of anything I have ever seen. They went above and beyond with the overall plot (a show within a show {meta as fuck}) and the feel is more like the first season: more horror and suspense and less of the crass shock gore & sex like S5. This was actually really spooky and unnerving.

mid way through the season, it takes a major left turn and breaks the fifth(?) wall, where they are self-aware that it was a fictional TV show with no real murders. Then the jackoff producer decides to make a second season with cameras in every room of the Roanoke house, which leads to horrendous consequences for everyone. Each episode from 6 on just gets better and better.

I absolutely loved it, the writing & cinematography are a cut above anything else on TV right now, and the acting is A+ from everyone.

I'm watching Westworld it's about a cowboy styled theme park in the future and the people that live there aren't actually human they're programmed flesh golums that blend in with the setting for real humans to interact with, also Anthony Hopkins plays the evil genius that's behind it all
