I was grinding black pepper over my pan of still-frying eggs in one of those shitty grinders from the grocery store spice aisle and the fucker broke in half in my hands, dousing my eggs in peppercorns.
Also I got one of those cooking thermometers with probes so you can monitor the temp while shit's in the oven. First time I used it I tried to pull the (metal) probe out of a piece of chicken with my bare hand straight after removing the pan from the hot oven.
