The common name ʻOumuamua was chosen by the Pan-STARRS team. The name is Hawaiian in origin ("ʻou" means "reach out for", and "mua", with the second "mua" placing emphasis, means "first, in advance of"), and reflects the nature of the object as a "scout" or "messenger" from the past.[4] The first character is a Hawaiian ʻokina, not an apostrophe.
lmfo they named it"reach out in advance of" aka jack off the fucking giant alien cock you fucking losers look at that shit

this discovery also adds an amazing twist to a longstanding theory
its been widely suggested that life may have originally formed due to a collision with this planet by a comet/asteroid that was carrying all the right molecules to form carbon life on this planet, further suggesting that the ELE (extinction level event) that wiped out the dinosaurs may have in fact been an asteroid that had the right molecules to form human beings when it collided with earth, after 60 million years or so of 'gestating' on this planet. thus, our genuine ancient lineage stems from another galaxy, meaning we're all actually alien intruders that have been stuck here on earth BUT THATS NOT EVEN THE TWIST YET FUCK HOLD ON A SEC if such a thing were true, then the possibility arises that the same exact has, at one or more points, happened the other way around: pieces of our solar system have gone rogue, collided with another galaxy's planet, and created life of its own, this time stemming from the milky way. just maybe somewhere, out there, is certain life that evolved from rhe same stuff that creates life on earth keanu_whoaa.jpg

k man that’s not the panspermia theory lol the theory is that all life was started from molecules on another asteroid, not that just mammalian life post dinosaurs
we have a fairly clear lineage all the way back to fish, and especially back through the small mammals that survived extinction events due to their size |
