i bought "papers please" for 3 dollars. its pretty great. i love it, but i havent played it enough to say whether or not the political undertones (overtones imo) are pissing me off. they MIGHT be too obvious to appreciate. otherwise its a solid beautiful 41mb game

question this month: are you gonna get a switch

I got back into diablo, playing season 9. I made a barb and a demon hunter, both are 70, tho the dh is fresh. Barb has his set already.

Bloodborne again. I have put it up to dark souls 1 in terms of my love for the game, but objectively bb is the best game of that collection

I played and almost finished Overcooked, it's a reeeally neat game for co-op

I picked up For Honor on PS4 - pretty fun medieval combat game. A little less frantic than Chivalry, it uses a 3 direction combat system which dictates whether your atracks go left, right or top. Same goes for blocking, as you need to match the enemy's direction to avoid taking the hit. 

There's stamina management to consider, so constant offense will get you in a bad position quickly. The different classes within the 3 factions have similarities to each other (balanced, tanker, assassin, hybrid) yey they manage to stay unique due to the combat actually having combos, which almost makes For Honor a fighting game. Also utilized is guardbreaking, which is a shoulder charge to get past an enemy being too defensive, along with a push that can throw your foes off the map for an instant kill. 

The Story isn't terrible, and nets you good currency (steel) and unlockable decals for your classes. There's a little bit of random loot that gives stat changes to various abilities, from attack damage to how far you throw somebody. The Dominion game mode is a little like Dynasty warriors, where you control points and fight enemy players in a sea of 1-hit-killable fodder soldiers, trying to get to the score of 1000 first. Duels (1v1), Brawls (2v2) and Deathmatch are pretty self explanatory.

The game is fun. It's got online issues, and will need a patch to fix some improperly working mechanics, but it's overall a stylish and well designed and balanced game.

anyway I've been playing that northguard game and it's pretty fun. basically command and conquer or warcraft, but like, new, man. and eternal. which is a card game. also fun and imo 100% better than hearthstone will ever be.
