maybe I've heard one in a movie or something, but I very rarely have ever listened to the radio.  I can't even name one (unless Purple Rain is also the name of a song, but then I couldn't tell you shit about it, because I've never heard it.)

Nah, I'm being dead serious. Pop music just generally doesn't appeal to me, so I never went for it. The only one of those songs I've heard of is Purple Rain, and only because the movie is so acclaimed.
