I wonder if any of you remember me. Back when the utopia of the Explosm fora was still a reality, I was a retarded 15 year old kid causing mild sighs across all boards. Five years have passed since then, and I am now a retarded 20 year old kid only causing my own mother to sigh, ever so mildly. All of you are still vivid in my memory. Urser, Russ, Tyler, the Depraved Son Of A Bitch also known as Quadros, Gorilla Tits, Slutty, Kyle and so so many more I have struggled to forget with all my might (Fucking Concussion).
It makes me weirdly happy to have stumbled upon this community again, partly because I can now revel in nostalgia, and partly because it gives me a pretty clear view of how far I've come.
The thing is, I was an absolute idiot. Completely unable to form an argument, incompetent when it came to telling a story, unfunny, and that's just the tip of it. Wonderfully enough, that's what had me coming back all the time. The society I grew up in was very efficient when it came to clumping me up with people of my own age and skill level only. I believe it did me some serious good to communicate with a group of individuals with more knowledge and experience than me. I'm sorry I was a bore, but you all did a small good deed whenever you pointed the fact out.
Even now, a part of my life is devoted to finding more people who can remind me that I'm still an absolute idiot. Complacency is the greatest of evils.
When I just think about all the stuff we've talked about here. It probably wasn't much but it sure feels like it. This is the perfect moment for innocent recollections of mischief. Like that time we had a thread for designing wheelchairs for Russ. Or that time Quadros banned most of the forum on a spree driven by meth and determined hatred. Or when there was MY post-a-picture-of-yourself thread. Bask in memory, my brothers.
