After watching a few debates and watching the trainwreck that jill stein is, I have to concede that Ben is right and that Gary is, gasp, probably the best candidate of the bunch.

he wants to ban muslim women from wearing burqas and is very much a republican. like seriously. he was a republican senator. he's just as conservative except he really likes weed

he's also in favor of tighter voting restrictions... not even trump is that suicidal. he disagrees with promoting alternative energy sources, is very outspoken on NOT taxing the wealthy at a higher rate, he wants to privatize social security, and those are about the only actual, tangible political ways he differs from trump. everything else they just plain agree on.

he wants to remove all tax (?) and replace it with a flat tax on consumption. he's been responding to the fat that that could be disastrous, and his standard response i that he's not a dictator, his goals would only be implemented if possible/achievable. libertarians do want to privatize everything, but he doesn't want to remove a safety net, well that's one of the many things i disagree with him on

as for his difference with trump, it's actually pretty huge. gary is pro-immigration, he is aginst taxing foreign imports and he's in favour of stepping out of the middle east. weld has compared trump's round-up policies on latino and muslims with the onset of nazi germany.
