Topic: so, considering all of this, what would be effective measures to counteract future incidences of sexual harassment? Scandals like these aren't new to entertainment and they usually blow over.

I don't really know but I imagine that this would be a great oportunity to push for research-based state mechanisms for sexual harassment/assault claims in the workplace (afaik these are nowadays only handled by local HR). A bit like ~name evades me, copyright claim institution in the US, probably a bad example~ but with specific built-in research-based mechanisms for establishing proof and validating claims.

but anyway prevention is the most important thing in ending sexual assault and rape, addressing the root causes (interpersonal violence is almost always learned) stops the majority of it from ever happening in the first place.
