these three people had a big metal piece that was stuck to something else, the guy take out a huge blowtorch and heats the thing until it's orange, then take a little black dot with a pick and stick it on the metal

the rig is generally the whole thing you use for it, you generally want to use like, something with longer tubes of glass so the smoke cools down first. most people have a rig specifically for dabs that they don't use to just smoke out of bc it gunks up so much quicker and the glass is generally also thicker and stronger. you might have used a rig and mistook it for a normal bong bc they look kinda similar
