mmmm its mony from there own pocket in that case not mony from tax payer but maybe ur right that ppl will do higher education for smth like self fulfilment nd thats hard to put a mony value on from sococonomic pov ! for me i think education has more with career qualifications thats much more easy to put mony value on but maybe society also is responsible to make sure all ppl have opportunitys for self actualizing,,,,,,even if its by doing 8 years of there potential work life on tax payer bill for a degree that wont get them a job ? but than where do u draw the line at what point is ppls opportunity to better themselfs to costly for society
