luckily most lgbt ppl that ive seen know better than to blame this on islam. pretty much all the speakers at the vigil yesterday were saying that blaming islam for the actions of one man is not the right thing to do n the opposite of progress for it and all like 600+ people there clapped and cheered every time he said so. it might depend on area considering we are close to dearborn which has a very very significant muslim and arab population so we all know at this point that as a group of ppl they literally don't mean us any harm n just want to exist safely like we do but it was still nice to see
