I have experienced sleep paraylisis on multiple occasions. The first time it happened to me, I was laying on my left side facing against a wall. Suddenly I could not move at all, only breathe. At first it was strange, why couldn't I move my arms or legs? Then, holy shit. I felt something close to my ear and my heart started beating very loudly. The thing next to my ear started breathing heavily with its mouth open. I could feel the hot air on my ear with every exhale. Then I immediately could move again, looked all over my room and did not see a thing.
I didn't think too much of it. The experience was strange, different, but I didn't let it bother me. Until the next time it happened. This time shit hit the fan.
I was in the same position as before, waiting to fall asleep. Then suddenly I couldn't move again. Only this time, I could open my eyes. But when I opened them, all I saw was fire and burning rubble as far as the eye can see. At this point, I figured I had fallen asleep. Then I felt 20 different pairs of hands grab me and started tugging. I could hear my fan still on in my bedroom as well as my bedsheets sliding underneath me, so I was pretty scared at this point. Then, all at once, what I could describe as a million voices screaming out in agony started singing, while more hands started to grip me. This is where I could start moving again, it all disappeared after that. I didnt sleep for a couple of days.
This continued happening to me, but just me freezing up and not being able to move. Finally, the last time it happened was me laying on my right side looking at my room. With my eyes still open, my body locked up. I glaced at my computer chair and noticed something sitting on it. It had a humanoid body, but no real features on its face. It started to grin and get up out of the chair, then started to walk over to my bed. I was able to move when it got close to me. It hasn't happened since then, but ever since I have been having lucid dreams every night.
Also please don't judge or ridicule someone for their opinions, that is incredibly fucking petty.
I too have suffered multiple bouts of sleep paralysis but it's weird because it was never that "intense" too me besides the very first time it happened. The first time I was just laying on my side and I woke up, looking at the end of my bed I saw some scary ass shit, can only describe it as what I think the grim reaper would look like mixed with like a goat headed demon. I was desperately trying to vocalize to my GF at the time but all that would happen was a tiny little "hnnngh" after a while I closed my eyes and fell back into natural sleep.
Ever since then when it happens (happens in a frequency of like once a year probably) I don't really see things, or when I do I can rationalize it away to the effect that I am not terrified. The experience is a lot different now as well, it feels like I am super tired when it happens, you know the feeling when you need to get up to piss or something but you don't because you're too tired and you just keep dreaming that you're getting up and pissing over and over? It's like that without actually falling back asleep. I can snap out of it now by just willing myself to move for a little bit, starts with moving my feet and hands and then I'm able to move everything else.
