the advantage of it over normal busses is obvious, have you ever driven behind a bus? it's awful. not every city can support a subway system, especially not states built on fuckin swamps like Michigan and maybe florida? they might have subways. idk. but like i said before there's still an issue where existing infrastructure just plain won't support it and cities than can't afford to radically alter their infrastructure (both for Detroit for example) so it doesn't really. solve very many problems i think

Florida only has buses for public transportation and even then it is rarely used.
