(actual) DRUG DISCUSSION THREAD [DONT TELL MOM AND DAD EDITION]
#47
Care
yay, an active thread !

I've taken pretty much diehard & niki's lists combined, but haven't done hallucinogens in 10+ years. They were super enjoyable and gave me new persepctives and just about everything in life, my strong spiritual connection to the universe is partly because of them. The only narcotic I still occasionally use are opiate painkillers: vicodins, percocet, roxicodone and dilaudid seem to interchangeably be the usual suspects. They are not prescribed to me, I purchase them off the black market like a muthafuckin' badass. It's not something to be entirely proud of, as it's damaging my body steadily, but the mental payoff is worth it for me. I've reached remarkably deep levels of meditation while on opiates, enough to the point where it feels like I'm interdimensionally projected into parallel worlds... whoa dude!

And pot. Love pot. It's the best mood stabilizer I could possibly ask for, as I share nearly all symptoms of Bipolar disorder (I'm undiagnosed). It can singlehandedly pull me out of a strong depressive mood like nothing else can, and in minutes. It does wonders for my appetite, which generally sucks due to digestion issues. It is also a very effective treatment for insomnia, which gets the best of me more often than not.

As for the 'lesser' drugs I use, cigarettes and caffeine are stimulants that I regularly self-administer throughout each day. Smoking has fucked my lungs, throat & teeth but seems to keep me focused. But to be honest, I think the withdrawal from not having a cigarette is what makes me lose focus, so I'm basically feeding a monster just to unfuck my addicted brain. And I drink coffee like it's water, which also has detriments to my health (my teeth are horrible) but gives my mind & body the energy needed to counteract the pot in my system and function like a normal person. I'm kind of a hyper guy by nature as is, but coffee doesn't make me bounce off the walls -- just keeps me working along at a more productive rate.

And that's my essay about the drugs I do, thank you for reading and remember to smoke weed everyday.
