see, they never come out the gate with their abusive ways in the beginning -- she was trying to woo me as much as I was her, so it was all lovey-dovey and nicenice at first
eventually, little by little, there would be brief moments of major bitchiness where she would get abrasive with her words, but they would pass. I was like "ok, she's kinda nuts sometimes but hey what woman isn't lol" but these brief moments started becoming longer and harsher, but at that point we were close & sleeping together and I was like "the good parts are good, guess I can deal with her wicked side too" and you give love a chance
Then one day the sex stopped. The affection stopped. Kissing, hugging and cuddling dwindled by the day, but the abuse remained. I tried reasoning with her and having a dialogue about how she treated me, and sometimes it seemed like I was getting through to her. But next chance she got, always, she'd find a way to put me down. It finally hit a wall when I blew up on her the other day, I had already decided we needed time apart but her being super-clingy insisted on seeing me everyday anyway. The rage I had been bottling for months finally came up and it took a major fight in which we almost exchanged blows (not the good kind) to finally stop this endless bout.
There's lesson here, my peeps. Toxic people are impossible to argue or reason with, and even when the sex is good, there's a normal loving person out there waiting to fuck you better, and without the abuse.
