The action in the Idlib Offensive had some crazy events. Eventually HTS gained its footing, with its allies TIP (Turkistan Islamic Party) and Jaish Nasr (FSA affiliate) launched a counter-offensive along the SAA's southwestern flank of the offensive, at the cities of Mushayrifah, Khuwayn al Kabir and Asthan, capturing them.

But, while this was happening, the SAA was encircling the al-Hoss region to the northeast, shortening the front-lines while to the south HTS members were still retreating and still defecting to ISIS. Before the SAA could finish encircling the remnants of them, the last HTS members retreated before area was surrounded completely. ISIS was able to advance through the area so fast because there is literally no one is those villages.

The last three days saw heavy fog in the area hampering their airpower, which lead to the stall in the offensive, but after the fog cleared, it picked back up today, which saw to them capturing the airbase, securing one of the major goals of the offensives. Still clashes ongoing on the western and northern side of the airbase, with russian aircraft raining hell on convoys heading into abu al-duhur. While this was going on, the villages of al-Aliyah, Rasam al-Ghazal and Wadi al-samaniyah were liberated, completely encircling area today.
