maybe its because i know tyler, but his posts which spawned the witch hunt comment were, I BELIEVE, asking an epistemological question about belief. if your argument is that the women accusing others of assault should be believed, baseline, and so throwing doubt at that is gross then i can see that and agree to an extent? i mean, that was niki's point immediately after. it made sense
but then you kind of just appraised the wordage of the statement, completely ignoring what he's saying. he is saying "when do we start investigating a claim instead of believing a claim", because a danger of that is the witch hunt (believing a claim without investigation), AS I UNDERSTAND IT
