it seems like the issue with odyssey is the way it operates to me (i don't own it disclaimer). there's SO many moons in the game and you don't have to collect them all to finish it, so it feels like there's not much of a cathartic release for finishing the game. it's just sort of like well cool, i beat the game but didn't actually finish it, time to hunker down and grind.
this is the problem with a lot of open world games and while i used to love them a lot, it's starting to turn me off of them as i end up having less and less time to play video games in my life.
