Topic: so, considering all of this, what would be effective measures to counteract future incidences of sexual harassment? Scandals like these aren't new to entertainment and they usually blow over.

I don't really know but I imagine that this would be a great oportunity to push for research-based state mechanisms for sexual harassment/assault claims in the workplace (afaik these are nowadays only handled by local HR). A bit like ~name evades me, copyright claim institution in the US, probably a bad example~ but with specific built-in research-based mechanisms for establishing proof and validating claims.
