If it was a monument to the dead, I'd be angry. Death has no bias, so there should be no reasons to remove something like that.
do you think there should be memorials to germans who fought for their country in either world war? its a memorial to the dead, of course, but implicitly for nazis (or part of the kaiserreich)
A memorial to the dead, not a memorial for what they fought for. Both sides were human, as well as a symbol of our past, and the horrors of reality. Its a way to honor the dead and learn from our mistakes. War is hell.
