so I'm back at the hospital and they've finally agreed to up his dosage of pain meds, sort of. he just takes them more often which is really all he needed so thats cool. only thing that isn't cool is that they are giving him SOMETHING that is giving him weird jitters every night. it almost looks like withdrawals but we can't tell what's causing it. I mean its not opiate withdrawal or anything because they've been giving him them since he's been here. seems like one of his meds is clashing with another but I have no idea.
also his trachea is collapsing every time he's off the ventilator, that's why since december he hasn't been able to get off of it for more than a few seconds. there isn't really a fix for it without major surgery which at this point after so many he might not even survive that or even want to do it.
