You should separate yourself from the celebrities personal life and on stage performance. I am pretty sure you already like artists or actors that are shit people in real life.

The key word being "I used to like him." I haven't enjoyed his videos for years. I can separate artist from art, but I don't enjoy his new work and I find his current ramblings repugnant.
