I tried to but he rubbed his nose at me and sent me flying into the wall with the force of a thousand and so ons.
For reals tho I see him as a less eye opening Derrida. his argumentation is painfully self referential and unclear. "In defence of lost causes" will break into entire paragraphs worth of digression that comment on marginal postmodern distionctions which would be fine if he ever meaningfully elaborated on them, but he doesn't. His film readings can be spot on and usefull and he gets profanity but I don't believe he's the sort of thinker who'll be remembered as significant in a couple hundred years.
