@Shagg - Here, this is my take on the 100 days. It's only blurbs, I don't have time (15 min break) to do a full report on each topic.
1. Term Limits - good campaign voter bait, but doubtful this will actually go anywhere, congress likes their jobs.
2. Hiring Freeze - stopping new federal workers and letting them sit until they want to quit seems like a very lackadaisical way to handle wanting less federal workers. No new mailmen, sorry.
3. 2 regulations gone for every new one - this will gum up a lot of the political process as I'm sure getting rid of regulations takes about as long as it is to get one set up. Deregulation is a very important issue for the right in terms of business so this sounds like their best bet on paper, but it'll be a hassle to do this every time.
4. Lobbyist ban - getting rid of Lobbyists was another campaign promise but he's already staffing quite a few of them so oh well!! even if it passes, after 5 years there'll be a bunch of pissed off new lobbyists.
5. Foreign Lobbyist ban - "keep american money in american politics" definitely based off of Clinton getting money from Saudi Arabia. But it's not like we have to live on the planet with other nations or anything, lets just cross our arms and hold our breath till they go away.
1. NAFTA reneg - "one of the worst deals ever." this comes down to perspective. overall, don't think NAFTA was that bad.
2. TTP - I didn't like it, seemed forced on us so I'm ok with it going away.
3. China's Money - Trump's gonna have an Ex-banker who was prevalent during the banking bailout say China's been fucking with it's currency. It's called inflation, not manipulation, it's fine, this is fear mongering.
4. Foreign Trade Abuse - Domestically this sounds good but he needs to specify what constitutes as Trade abuse against American workers
5. Fossil-Fuel Restriction lift - Lets revitalize a dying energy market! It's not like Oklahoma is having rapid-fire earthquakes!! This is mostly to pander to the blue collar workers, which is admirable, but it leaves a big red flag for environmental concerns.
6. Keystone Pipeline - I don't like this. Oil has never been cheaper, and yet we want more of it on THIS side of the world! if there's a spill shit's gonna be fucked.
7. Cancel Climate Change - wait, just take out money from actual legit programs to help a WORLDWIDE problem, and reallocate it so it just helps us? Incredibly selfish.
1. Cancel Obama's Executive Actions - While this can happen, it'll take a long fucking time. Plus, a lot of those actions directly affect citizens (yes, citizens) and that makes it more tricky. It won't be easy, or quiet to do this.
2. SCJ - Boy, not looking forward to this. Congress was about ready to hold their breath on the new Justice if Clinton won the presidency, so now they get to have their cake and eat it too. The implications of a neo-conservative judge to a lot of Rulings that benefit social reform.
3. Cancels Sanctuary City Funding - I live in a Sanctuary City, and we're already setting up to continue to be one, regardless of Federal Funding.
4. Deportation - 2 million (maybe even 3 million!) illegal immigrants with criminal backgrounds - Big campaign promise. We'll see how this will pan out, I feel like if this did move forward it would take several years, he might not even be president anymore before it's done. The logistics of this process alone would be staggering.
5. Suspend Immigration from Terror Zones - This is a slippery slope, since what can be defined as a terror zone? Anybody we don't like? It's a very hard stance on a Global Problem.
1. New Tax Reform - Under his plan, I'll maybe save 3% on taxes. However, this still benefits the extremely wealthy the most. This is intended to create jobs, but honestly, the wealthy stay wealthy by not spending money.
2. End Offshoring - This has been a legitimate economic concern, since companies literally can go almost anywhere and set up shop for way cheaper, then export goods/services back to America for huge profit. Tariffs seems more like a bandaid solution that'll just piss everyone off, though.
3. Energy & Infrastructure - This could be good, but there's no specifics on what Energy and what Infrastructure they are talking about regarding this. So, it sounds good, but we'll have to see what it might actually -do-.
4. Education Act - Education is shit in general in this country, but how much of Educations funding will go to, say Homeschoolers? This could breed a lot of bubble learning for children. Education should be the access to knowledge, not the filtering of it.
5. Repeal/Replace Obamacare - Trump talked to Obama for like an hour and he's already thinking of not fucking with it as much.
6. Child/Eldercare act - This could be beneficial to those who it applies to, but I'm thinking they planned to use some of the ACA's funding to support this.
7. THE WALL - Maybe a fence. The minimum jail for repeat deportees seems like we'll just be filling up our prisons with immigrants.
8. Buff Police - If you're white, this is fine. If you're anybody else, this is scary, because of the already tense relationship regarding police and minority citizens.
9. Boost Security- Military Troop/Weapon wise, this is unnecessary. VA-wise, this could be helpful since a lot of Vets still don't get proper care. Cyber Security, we gotta cyber better, harder. Vetting even HARDER.
10. DRAIN THE SWAMP - Good fucking luck. Again, government people like their jobs, and like how their jobs go. If you fuck with them, it'll be a tough road.
I noticed that a lot of the points you like to have contention over are regarding economic issues and foreign trade issues - with you boasting about a biz econ degree, i think you just wanted to seem like the smart guy and prove us all inferior
honestly, it doesn't matter your actual intentions - i don't believe you wanted a civil discourse on things. you actually sound like someone from /pol/ and/or reddit. your mannerisms on how you post are completely different than how you did before. so, congrats, you made some nice juicy drama, but ultimately achieved very little.
