that's weird that they don't show up when plugged in. definitely sounds like an audio driver thing but honestly I don't know. I assume you're just using your mobo built in soundcard or whatever, so maybe try and find your mobo online and look for the updated audio drivers

does ur computer itself have a headphone jack. if so can u plug them in there and does that mute the speakers?

do your SPEAKERS have a headphone jack? thats what I use and it mutes them

Just to clarify, I meant my headphone problem's not a big deal. The avatar's a huge deal, I already deleted my other avatar so I can't upload it again and I spent a lot of time making it

throw your computer out the window that usually helps for me
