Well, since people ARE reading this thread, there are MAJOR updates.

For one, Iraqi and PMU forces have started two major offensives on the last remaining pocket (shown here as Al Hawijah) and the Euphrates valley, towards the city of Al Qa'im. They are also cooperating with the SAA, NDF and Hezbollah forces near the southwest border with Syria. They have allowed each other to move 20 miles within each others territory, to help aid in the battle for the border.

Syria has been busy as well. In Deir ez-Zor, the SAA is pushing hard north towards the ISIS stronghold of Ma'adam while in the south they pour across the Euphrates, gaining a foothold, even though they had difficulties. The difficulties is the US-Proxy force opened the gates to the Tabqa Dam, creating a faster flow, making it difficult for the SAA to set up pontoon bridges to hinder their advance across the river. This has not stopped them though. With help from Russian advisors, the SAA conducted an airborne operation on the Taybeh Oil Field (shown as the blue square). The USA is denying these reports, though there is photographic evidence of the operation taking place.

In the Al-Tanf pocket (blue circle), the USA agreed to give up the area. They've decided that funding the rebels there, who were originally made to fight ISIS, are effectively useless and are demanding the remaining rebel forces in the area to evacuate to Jordan.

Now, in Hama, things started to heat up. HTS (Al-Qaeda with their fourth name change) broke the de-escalation zone agreement in the Idlib province and conducted a huge surprise offensive, trapping Russian MPs in the process. They were swiftly dealt with, pushing back the jihadist offensive, as well as knocking out two tanks captured in 2016 during the Aleppo siege with 850+ casualties inflicted from vicious counter-attacks and continuous bombing from the RAF and SyAAF (offensive shown in yellow). The Russian MPs were freed from the short lived encirclement, with no dead and only 3 injured.

The ISIS Salami pocket in eastern Hama has slowly but steadily been shrinking. ISIS has been countering-attacking at every turn in the flat lands in the north, but the SAA and NDF forces have been focusing on taking the mountains in the south of the pocket, obtaining complete fire control over the region.

Russian officials accuse the United States for trying to hinder the SAA at every turn. US-Backed terrorists, HTS, conducted their offensive to stall the advance in the Deir ez-Zor area, as well as using their kurdish proxy forces to open the dam. They also stated that there has been fierce fighting shown in this area circled, that is completely uncontested by the US and Kurdish forces, claiming that they're treating and giving aid to ISIS members in the area.

The United States at every move has tried to hinder the advance of the Russians and Syrians, but that has not stopped the determination of the Syrian people, to take back every single inch of clay and sand.

The Kurds in northern Iraq are going to be holding a referendum on the 25th, to vote to split off from Iraq entirely. Not only is Iraq completely against the idea, the US, France, Syria, Turkey and Russia have all condemned the notion of this illegal referendum. The ONLY country that has praised this decision, is the slimy, manipulative, disgusting cesspool that is Israel, showing that they're still keen on destabilizing the region. This could escalate into something massive, especially since they're still combating ISIS. I nervously await for next Monday.

Remaining ISIS members caught in the Salami pocket race through with a civilian convoy headed for the HTS controlled area to the north.

The ISIS troops hidden in the convoy sprung into action and took a sizable portion in a surprise offensive. HTS counterattacked and took back villages.

The SAA, taking advantage of this, started advancing on ISIS positions in the area.

Using surprise tactics and sleeper agents, ISIS took full control of the city of al-Qaryatayn in an offensive through the open desert.

It took two weeks, but the SAA managed to take back the city, but not before ISIS members executed hundreds of "traitors".

After 4 months and 1 week of intense air bombardments from coalition jets and intense house to house fighting, al-Raqqa is finally cleared of ISIS militants, with the US-Proxy force preparing to integrate it illegally into their territory.

On the 23rd of September, the SAA finally cleared the Ma'adan pocket of Da'esh members liberating scores of villages, freeing up troops for Deir ez-Zor in the south and a push towards Al-Mayadeen

on September 28th, ISIS launched a MAJOR offensive in the name of Abu Mohamed Al-Adani offensive. Most of the sources I have on the subject are from ISIS-linked twitter. They captured dozens of check-points, cities and the T3 pumping station (next to the plane, bottom left in picture) all along the Deir ez-Zor highway, cutting off the major supply route towards the Deir ez-Zor city. After weeks of intense clashes, the SAA managed to retake all captured territories.

While all that fun was happening on the Deir ez-Zor highway, the elite SAA Tiger Forces launched a major offensive down the Euphrates valley, toward the de-facto capital of Al-Mayadeen. After a week of clashes, they managed to encircle the city and liberate it. Using this momentum, they continued south.

While clearing out the city, they found massive amounts of weapons supplied from western countries, mostly France and the US.

After clearing the city and heading south, going through the desert again during a sandstorm, ISIS rushed towards the city. In a counterattack, the SAA crushed the ISIS attack with them taking heavy casualties.

https://www.almasdarnews.com/article/isi...militants/

In a surprise turn of events, hundreds of ISIS tribal members defect to the US-proxy forces and give up the largest oil-field, Al-Omar, almost completely intact. This raises a lot of questions with the United State's involvement in the area. They're using this momentum to keep heading towards the border with Iraq.

Yesterday, after flanking the ISIS members in south-east Syria, the SAA finally took back the T2 Pumping station from the Da'esh, finally seizing the last of the pumping stations from ISIS.

https://www.almasdarnews.com/article/vid...eir-ezzor/

Despite the offensive against Iraqi Kurdistan after declaring independence, the Iraqi Army finally started their offensive towards Al-Qaim. So far, they have liberated the H-1 and H-2 Airbases in the south-west while they attempt to cut off Al-Qaim from the rest of the Islamic State territory.

Currently, in Deir ez-Zor city, the SAA managed to liberate Saqr Island and the industrial center, pushing ISIS away from the south-east of the city.

https://www.almasdarnews.com/article/syr...-new-town/

Unfortunately, the Major General Issam Zahreddine "The Druze Beast", mastermind of the defense in Deir ez-Zor when it was encircled by Al-Nusra and then ISIS for 5 years before the SAA Tiger Forces broke the siege last month, died on October 18th from an ISIS IED. He will be remembered by all as the defender of Deir ez-Zor and it's people.
