So the only feedback for a well thought post is a complete misinterpretation of my original message. I guess you're all too thin and privileged to understand the struggle.

And Grue, nobody will make fun of you for being on tindr because the people who can see who's on tindr have to be using the app themselves.
Of course if you look like Action Bronson you're likely to get laughed at and rejected by 99% of the users who aren't spambots, but you're quite unlikely to be made fun of FOR simply using tinder

also ive had friends make fake profiles with the very objective of hunting acquaintances to make fun of them. it's a thing. only "losers" get on dating apps

I use tinder for more than a year and i openly talk about it, people don't give it much consideration here either, make fun of it or they think it's exclusively a sex app but idc
I find that being open about things and owning them is the only way to change people's mind
