tempest, aint you been here for 11 years now?

i just passed 6. joined the forum to distract myself from the crippling depression that was encompassing my dark lifw at the time, but the community fascinated me and i stuck around

and there was some genuinely funny shit on the old fora. i personally was a big fan of chrisso's hijinks

I honestly don't think I've changed very much since I joined this shit

in '06 I was an arrogant loser reading anarcho-syndicalist literature and lecturing people about things I didn't fully understand, also I drank a lot

now I shifted to classic socialism and my hair is bigger

also the forums changed for the better. tbh the forums on '06 were a shitshow with a couple gems here and there. most threads were boring or annoying. people fought a lot. essentially this that we have now, is the same quality of the good threads we had then, but because we no longer have the bullshit spam things feel much slower

also the reason I stuck around was that for the longest time some of you were about as close to me as my other IRL friends

yeah I hit some very low points in my life

this really is the best these forums have been since i've joined, particularly post quality

not being on an internet-famous site has weeded out the attention whores, even kyle doesnt drop by anymore. i genuinely like every active member here, most of us are on a first name basis. we bust each others balls, but flaming has virtually become non-existent... one of the only downsides, too, because the nuanced jokes from making fun of some fly-by moron were pretty funny

there's members I wish were here with us now, particularly slothman and smelly. thank god we still have risbolla, and @alienator should post more

therrs my gay opinion that noone asked for, thanks for reading and keep on truckin

I made my debut in '09 as Gohan, Goku, Vegeta, and other characters from the critically acclaimed anime DBZ wherein I simply spam posted  Gohan in every thread, which will be my only legacy and contribution to the forum. Maybe a year or so later I created Demon_Semen, which was somewhat of a more "serious" attempt to integrate myself into the community.  It wasn't long before the pendulous, varicose clown meatus enticed me back into his cold embrace and I outro'd myself with the classic goatse. Since then my posts have been sparingly and in the forum of gimmick accounts; TJ Detweiler, Vince McMahon, etc before settling on the Crypt Keeper as my favorite and most accessible. Despite how limited and small my contributions have been, they have been a constant source of excruciating regret.
