(tried to take the oportunity to learn if i could merge posts by two different users, ie risb and z_jesus, turns out it«s a mess, my bad)
yeah i kinda wrote that in a daze I think zizek's concept of "a set of unspoken rules" is good because it's simple to understand and convey but it's basically piggybacking on other people's more complex concepts (notably ranciere's "police", or the body politic in machiavellian terms) but for all the good it did in my post i might aswell just replace the whole thing with PTB or The System the point is that there's a way of doing things that operates during a certain stability-time and the cunning politician is the one that correctly navigates the currents, and has the know-how (or better, the savoir-faire, because my understanding of know-how is that it is more commonly applicable to crafts or something, whereas savoir-faire is more like a "social know-how") to handle the synergies and conflicts of that political body but (and again, this goes back to ranciére) this stability is always being challenged by its own internal inconsistencies and that's the ground for new political forces to kinda "rise up" and set a new political balance. however it's also ripe for opportunism. hence the convergence of people like Milo with people like Trump. while notably Trump is not anything new (afaik america has a tradition of electing businessmen for president), his convergence with the ideological void the likes of Milo is interesting and it may mean that milo implodes in the same way that trump might implode, unless he manages to stabilize the "unspoken rules" and initiate a new political normal or maybe im just talking out of my ass idk

When in doubt, quote Walter Benjamin in a condescending manner

trumps definitely a fucking numbskull I'll say that.
right now im way more worried about the $800 billion cut to medicaid, as that will undoubtedly fuck with my family's life. my pay has been cut in half as my dad's caretaker, or will in july anyway, and now im pretty sure he'll be forced to pay some absurd amount for medical equipment and care out of pocket, which you know....I could maybe help with, but thanks to captain dipshit I'll have no money after paying my half of the bills.
The one and only king of cums.

I hope you guys don't take this personally because I'm obviously not happy about the repercussions in your healtcare and basic rights, but
this has been a blast of a political rollercoaster and possibly the most I laughed since Bush got the fool me once saying wrong
