very few criticisms, most of which I really doubt they didn't intend to fix before the release (audio and visual glitches, frustrating reload for the ranger race, and kind of frustrating crafting screen) and he likes it. looks really good. but then I thought no mans sky was going to be good.

Guys i want to take a minute to tell you about DEFENSE GRID: THE AWAKENING.

I bought myself DEFENSE GRID: THE AWAKENING as my birthday present to myself (because noone else got me anything ha ha funny joke 10/10)

it's a tower defense game where you have to stop the aliens from making off with the orbs and you get guns and cannons and lasers and things that shoot meteors to do it

it's loads of fun, but really hard, but never to the point were you're like FUCK THIS SHIT WHO MADE THIS, more along the lines of I'M GONNA FUCKING GET IT THIS TIME, FUCK YOU ALIEN PRICKS

theres a demo on steam, so if you like that sort of thing then i suggest you go have a look for it. it's pretty cheap too, even cheaper on a sale, though i know by the time you read this the autumn sale will be over...

Thumper got an update recently that adds a play+ mode - essentially hardcore mode, you get one life to beat the whole level, and when you hit 3x abd 4x multiplier, the level actually speeds up.
