so, i got monster hunter world and it's pretty neat. using lance almost exclusively with some bow here or there. im slow as hell but i just hit high rank and decided to go back and farm low rank stuff.
i also play the pokemon tcg online game. i have a dumb obsession with the funny japanese cardboard

I can't play games on account of not having a computer but back in january i was taking breaks from my thesis by playing slay the spire rounds
it's a deck building game mixed with dungeon crawling elements, you use a deck to fight enemies and then add, remove or transform cards as you go; there are also relics that can shift the rules of the game
but that's it p much I can't play games right now so here I am

matterialize and i tried out the Sea of Thieves stress test this weekend and holy shit it was cool. there was very little actual content in the current form of the game, so it's hard to tell what kind of lasting power it would have, but just sailing around in a 2-person ship digging up treasure and trying to dodge larger groups of nerds in big ships was fucking awesome. the game looks incredible and the actual gameplay hook was crazy fun, so if they can deliver on some actual content it might be a strong release next month
there's only one faction you can accept jobs from in the beta, the gold hoarders, and all of their jobs are 'go to island, dig up treasure, bring it back and sell it' so i assume when they add the other factions there will be more job variety
