hey it's that time of the month again.
i beat Deus Ex Mankind Divided, and while it's definitely a leap forward in terms of gameplay and such, I kind of felt like I liked the story of Human Revolution more. Mankind Divided feels like it falls flat a lot in storytelling, especially when a bunch of the main plot points are fucking cliffhangers that i assume are going to be cleaned up in DLC, or maybe a new game. but it was really cool, i only fought a single boss presumably because of my sneaky stealthy pacifist ways
also i've just been playing a shitload of WoW of course.

i have been playing path of exile!!! the game is a chore. they are making more and more great engine improvements, so that you can do the same shit at twice the fps. im still playing it because im a sick, twisted person who deserves death above all else. i do recommend it if you like to make spreadsheets and do math. which i do. someone pls kill me
i have been playing overwatch. its a fun game, very well put together. i find it out that its... lack of originality? does not bother me
ive also been playing eso. its bad. i said this before. its bad
i want to get into something new. i dont really know whats on the horizon or whatever, though, so i guess ill just work on other stuff. video games are gay

probably not worth it tbh in true blizzard fashion they made a ton of changes that are super good and legion is the best expansion in a long time but also they added some FUCKING STUPID shit too. massive time gates on just about everything, the new artifact weapon system, while cool, punishes you if you want to play more than 1 spec in your class, and there are like 6 legendaries for each class that they added but they're massively low drop rate rng bullshit.
the story experience is cool as hell though and the new raid is fun. the new way dailies work is great too. i'm enjoying it but i don't know if someone looking for a reason to come back to WoW would find it with legion especially since you're going to be really far behind in the time gated bullshit with no real catch-up mechanics to help.
