RE: The Nintendo Switch - Ben - 10-23-2017 who of you with switches have what games? right now ive just got zelda and mario kart. i want to get another but dont know what mario rabbids- i heard this was fun but i dont want to watch luigi dab, or whatever that game calls humor. is it good? disgaea 5- i know i love these games but i bought this on ps4 already fire emblem warriors- i played a fire emblem game on gba once, i dont know the series but hyrule warriors was my most played on wiiu. i also got dynasty warriors 8 on ps4 and really dont like it (visually and mechanically idk what the fuck is goin on in it). would i like it? or i wait for mario, though ive never been the greatest 3d mario fan tbh RE: The Nintendo Switch - Urser - 10-23-2017 you have a switch and you're not even excited for mario odyssey you fucking bitchhh!!!!! what a waste RE: The Nintendo Switch - Tyler_Legrand - 10-23-2017 Don't forget Sonic mania, baybee Also I reeeaaally want Wargroove to be good, I need my Advance Wars fix zomg https://wargroove.com/blog/ Anyway yeah I preordered Odyssey, I want the hat RE: The Nintendo Switch - Ben - 11-12-2017 i got odyssey and beat it. its cool RE: The Nintendo Switch - Ben - 11-22-2017 im at like 500 or something moons in odyssey now, its pretty fun though i do feel like it's missing something... i guess it's just the normal divide between 2d and 3d mario that makes it feel drastically different RE: The Nintendo Switch - Tempest - 11-22-2017 it seems like the issue with odyssey is the way it operates to me (i don't own it disclaimer). there's SO many moons in the game and you don't have to collect them all to finish it, so it feels like there's not much of a cathartic release for finishing the game. it's just sort of like well cool, i beat the game but didn't actually finish it, time to hunker down and grind. this is the problem with a lot of open world games and while i used to love them a lot, it's starting to turn me off of them as i end up having less and less time to play video games in my life. RE: The Nintendo Switch - parafwen - 11-24-2017 mario oddissey is amazing boys RE: The Nintendo Switch - Ben - 12-04-2017 (11-22-2017, 04:01 AM)Tempest Wrote: it seems like the issue with odyssey is the way it operates to me (i don't own it disclaimer). there's SO many moons in the game and you don't have to collect them all to finish it, so it feels like there's not much of a cathartic release for finishing the game. it's just sort of like well cool, i beat the game but didn't actually finish it, time to hunker down and grind. i am also really irritated with franchises i love being turned into sparse, shallow open-world experiences at the expense of memorable, iconic moments (MGS, zelda) but i think odyssey is really solid having so many moons makes it hard to 100% it without any intervention/outside info (outside of speedruns ive never ever looked up how to beat a thing or where something is in odyssey which im proud of) which is odd for a mario game, and makes some moons sort of meaningless, but i havent ever felt like their placement was just lazy or arbitrary. a lot of care was put into the layout and design of each world i m o RE: The Nintendo Switch - risbolla - 09-26-2018 yes RE: The Nintendo Switch - K-Man - 09-29-2018 hello this is a subforum takeover nothing to see here RE: The Nintendo Switch - Ben - 10-04-2018 this is a stick up give me all your sticks |
