gurren lagann is the type of anime where the main characters can literally make things happen just by imposing force of will on them, it's super over the top and ridiculous but it's a really fun anime

i hear lots of people complain about gurren lagann it's definitely not the thinking man's anime... but it is a good time. it's a little weird because 13 episodes in there's a 7 year time skip but if you watch you'll see why.... :)
