tbh thanking for a scholarship is kinda weird but i guess it's a privately funded scholarship? ive only worked with public funds. not many.

it’s one funded by the school so it’s not even like these people’s money went directly to me. i guess what they do is just pick a random name from one of the school donors.
my other scholarship is a Michigan competitive scholarship that i didn’t even apply for it just showed up lmfao
