This is a different subject, but how the fuck am I supposed to react to a review of a film that I'll never see? "I agree"? Fuck off. Your word isn't gospel. this shit is so crazy because in a way that could have been me? back in the time a whole bunch of people in this forum was sharing nudes and even though it never occurred to me that some were underage (all of you were maybe? idk) I distanced myself from it which was clearly a good decision. I was already an adult and some of you were like 12? Ben was 5? I don't know I just heard of the photos, never seen them.
and let me assure you back then i was all about bad decisions, specially considering my drunken sprees
that's just one example but looking back in my life there were so many situations where that could have been me. for many reasons nothing ever happened that I'm ashamed of right now, and I like to think some measure of good sense played a part in that, but all it took was a slip? idk. like, if I had the life that I had and I was this hot shot famous dude on top of it, blasted on coke and fame, who knows how I'd deal with that
I remember this one time there was this exchange student drunk off her tits and she was hitting on everyone. she hit on me too and I just awkwardly stepped aside. back then it didn't occur to me that she couldn't consent, I just simply didn't see the appeal in a girl that could barely speak? anyway she then went to a couple friends of mine who took her to her home and she started to undress. one of them told the other to fuck off because she couldn't consent, and they did. it was just the other day that we were talking about it and yeah, of course, made perfect sense, but in the moment? didn't even think about it. sometimes I remember that story and I'm thinking 'why didn't I do it?' can I safely say it was because of consent? I'm not sure
