and tyler, what method are using to smoke? blunts and bongs will fuck your pulmonary & esophageal world up
I smoke every night but in small increments, either one-hitters or small glass pipes. gentle, moderate hits, shouldn't need more than 8 or 9 in a session. Cut back or abstain for a day or two, watch your tolerance drop
i also smoke about 30 marlboro reds a day, so take it from someone whose lungs & throat cant handle too much weed but still needs it daily

bong. One hitters are better? Now that I think about it, it probably brings in more air vs smoke that way when you smoke, but I just hate burning/wasting bud. I am on a tight budget, so that's why I bong it. But yeah, since I cut back, my tolerance has dropped. That ER visit was a real wake-up call.

it was an issue before i even went vegetarian which i did before going vegan Keith, i think the issue is more iron absorption than iron intake and a change in supplements and diet can’t really do much about that. im gonna see a hematologist because the other problems i have/have been having throughout my life might be more indicative of a clotting disorder. either way, my doctor right now doesn’t think my diet is the issue

i eat spinach and beans basically nonstop and that’s a diet that ends up having more iron than if you were eating beef and chicken and whatnot so if diet was the cause i would be absolutely bursting at the seams with blood but alas

it's always seemed to me that what you put into your body is what you get out of it, it's about nutritional balance which can still be achieved with a vegan lifestyle, one that fits your unique health profile (i have IBS and abnormally bad GERD, it's been a rocky road figuring out what I can and cant eat)
maybe even just adding new nutrients or a little less of something heavily consumed, find your balance
you deserve to feel your best, you are worth it <3

thank u, im hoping the hematologist has more insight because it’s also been a consistent problem that i throw up any iron pills that i take. iron infusions also irritate your stomach, but since it’s directly in my blood if i throw up then i just throw up and it’s fine the iron is still there. im hoping i don’t need full transfusions, those are expensive and i lose insurance and go back on medicaid in August

the US is a dystopia yeah i have very good private insurance until August 25th (and that’s because things are so bad for the working class that my 58 year old mother still has to work 60 hour weeks in a factory since my dad went on disability) and i have over $6000 of medical debt in collections right now. i owe an anesthesiologist who failed to monitor my vitals properly and nearly killed me from an allergic reaction $300

i was too sick to make it to a doctors appointment (because medical transportation is not covered here without having to jump through hoops i didn’t have time for) so that’s another $75. i just received a $300 bill for the aforementioned blood tests (one vial of blood, testing for thyroid function ferritin folic acid and everything else to just find out the cause of my anemia) and another $91 bill from a five minute ultrasound to make sure a 4cm mass in my neck isn’t cancerous

dude. fuckin tell me about it. poor and vulnerable people are already dying en masse over here and if it doesn’t come to a head soon it never will. propaganda in america is so strong that most people don’t understand they’re a couple days off work from being one of the homeless people they walk past as they freeze to death on the street
