Come the fuck on

RE: us election thread - K-Man - 10-02-2016

Wait, weren't they blatantly anti-Trump like yesterday?

what the actual fuck kind of election is this

RE: us election thread - Gorilla Tits - 10-02-2016

They are quite obviously anti-trump. They published an opinion piece from Donald Trump's campaign I guess to play devil's advocate. I like that they did that actually.

RE: us election thread - Ben - 10-02-2016

its his vice presidential pick. the first article: "literally us, the staff of this otherwise fairly impartial news outlet, are telling you he is fucked up"

the second article: "but we will let the vice presidential candidate give you an alternative (yet shitty and unclear) opinion on it"

mike pence doesnt... work for usa today. its the same as a university inviting a speaker they dont wholly agree with to speak even if they as the administration have said officially they disagree

RE: us election thread - grue - 10-02-2016

guys really there shouldn't be a need to stress out the difference between an editorial piece and an opinion column

RE: us election thread - grue - 10-02-2016

I guess this may be weird in american media because you guys have the whole polarized "we are liberal!" "we are conservative!" thing with different news outlet but I do think any self-respecting media outlet should have radically different ranges of perspectivs in the opinion section; it's fairly common around these parts (though not as encompassing as i wished it would be)

obviously there are lines to be drawn, like no overtly racist things, but the rest should be free game and let the reader be the judge

never called that it would end with a who's the biggest women abuser argument and yet here we are

RE: us election thread - Gorilla Tits - 10-09-2016

Hope everyone's ready for 4 years of President Hillary Clinton. At least she has political experience, and seen it first hand for 8 years before then.

RE: us election thread - grue - 10-09-2016

i love that his defence was "well SHE'S married to an ACTUAL mollester!!" what a guy

RE: us election thread - Gorilla Tits - 10-09-2016

I don't think it's molesting when it's consensual

RE: us election thread - GeorgeBubbinzInSpace - 10-09-2016
